On March 12, 2024 Salem will be asked to vote on Warrant Article #8 which will fund a new Police Station for the Town of Salem.
The Coalition For A Better Salem is supporting the Back The Badge campaign to rally support among town citizens.

Town Council Chair Robert Bryant, Council Member Joseph Sweeney, Municipal Services Director Roy Sorenson, Police Chief Joel Dolan, Owners Project Manager Marc Lehoullier, Architect Ted Galante, hold a public information session to explain the current conditions of the police station and the process to creating conceptual drawings and determine a cost to build a new station. A public question and answer session follows the presentation.
